Historical Bazaars: Historical bazaars such as Koza Han and İpek Han are important places that reflect Bursa’s rich trade history. Handicraft products, souvenirs and local products can be found here. During the time of Orhangazi, closed bazaars were started to be formed by covering the inns with roofs and the first form of the Grand Bazaar was formed in this way. In the following years, Sahaflar, Akatarlar, Ivaz Pasha, Gelincik, Sipahiler, Karacabey (Yorgancılar, Sandıkçılar), old coppersmith bazaars were added and formed the Grand Bazaar. In 1958, the bazaar was completely burnt down and was rebuilt; it was not built as a single storey as it was in its first form, but as a ground floor, shops at street level and on both sides of the roads and the upper floors of the shops. The bazaar was also covered in a modern way. After the 1855 earthquake, İvaz Paşa and Eski Bakırcılar Bazaars, which had remained open after their collapse, were restored and covered in 1960.
